When did you last embarrass yourself?

Adjusted my face mask in the store and one string popped off. I wore it half hanging there for a while trying to wrap the string around my ear but it kept falling off. I just took it off and carried it around in my hand so I could explain myself if they tried to kick me out.

I was in my underwear. I opened my front door a crack, and made sure nobody was there. Then I opened the door more so I could put out my garbage bin. Then I noticed at the bottom of the stair a woman. We made eye contact. I said, "Shit. Sorry!" and quickly went back in and shut the door.

I need to be more careful, or wear a robe!

@SW-User I still do not have one. I keep wearing a winter scarf when I go grocery shopping.

Do stores sell them or will I have to order online? I have never ordered anything online before.

@SW-User I am. I only go out about once a week, and only for groceries.

I did stop by the eyeglass shop today, too, just to see if it was open. They had signs saying what the new shopping protocols were. I peeked inside and a woman was there. She waved. But I left since I had other errands.

Someday I need to get new glasses. I might wait though until things calm down.
