What's going on with Mozilla Firefox?

I tried updating it and it's even worse, it opened one tab but it's useless as it won't take me anywhere.
Now, there was something about google or Mozilla or something third updating their terms (?) or something like that, that I've been ignoring for a while 馃槄 so...has anyone read that? Can you tell me what's going on / what should I do?
I'm already using more than 1 browser on a daily basis and I've got plenty of bookmarks I'd like to see again.

Export your bookmarks, download Brave, and import them to Brave.

@th3r0n Thanks

@th3r0n Depends on what you want from a browser. If you don't care about user customization or privacy, then Brave is a good browser. Also assuming your PC is a decent PC by today's standards.

@Imanomi it runs faster on a 2010 pentium than chrome or Firefox...it can use add-ons...and doesn't have trackers...what?

I would just try reinstalling it first and see if your missing any requirements. Make sure you backup all your bookmarks and everything.
If firefox still isn't doing the job, you can always try derivatives like Pale Moon (based off old Firefox code) or GNU Icecat (basically firefox with fancy user configurations).
What OS are you using, by the way?

@Imanomi Thanks, I'll try that too, exporting bookmarks atm
Windows 10

@Melpomene Okay. Tell me if you run into any errors or anything, and I'll try to help.
I admittedly don't have much experience with Windows 10, but I think should be able to help out somewhat.
