What was the most important lesson you learned this year?

Even the ones you trust the most can break you. I learned not to trust anyone and keep my guard up.

Above all I learned to not be a floor mat anymore and hit the people back when they hurt you.

Not to trust people so easily.

That not every I love you is real

Take care of myself first.

Knowing that the people that lied know you know is fucking priceless.

Fight.
To the last day.
To the last hour.
To the last second.

What you perceive as an inevitable loss may in fact be just the primary outcome of a project despite the fact its clear to all you've put your heart and soul into it.

Just because you feel the outcome something of a failure for you professionally doesn't necessarily mean those you've been working for see it the same way.
