What does it feel like to be a woman?

It often feels like every success or failure is negative tied to the fact that I am a woman.

"You only got a raise because you're a girl." It couldn't possibly be because I bust my ass, but okay.

"You overpaid for your car because you're ignorant about cars because you're a girl" Bruh, you barely know what I drive.

I am very aware that I'm extremely lucky to be a woman in a country like Canada. I think about that a lot.

I get frustrated sometimes. There are many pros and cons to be woman. I try to be aware of the position that beinc a woman puts me in, and I feel very responsible to act a certain way to make a good name for all women (though we should treat people as individuals!) but I try not to let it influence me too much. I just want to live as a human being, irrespective to my gender.

I have no idea what to compare it to, honestly. It’s all I’ve known.

I imagine the same way it feels to be [b]any[/b] human being, with a monthly inconvenience or two.

I don't know anything else, so normal.

There's pluses and minuses, just like there are for being a man.
