What does is mean when a person say

Hold yourself to a higher standard....stay on that 🐎 my ex text me this and we’ve been arguing I called the police and got a restraining in place because he’s been stalking me & making threats but I’m trying to figure out what does he mean by that .....

Nicely put...don't ever settle for an psychotic asshole like him again (I don't know how long you stayed with it but it seemed long enough) when you can have better...but that OPTION won't be available to you until you hold yourself to a higher standard...but your beautiful and free...so make the choice for yourself (standards can be adjusted) don't let him make the choice for you...
