okay *sigh* i know a lot about this.
wolves do not take well to tameing, they are wild.
even takjen as a pup, some day it will challenge your authority, and most people cant put a wolf down in a fight.
EVEN the wolf crosses are more likley to eat your neighbor's poodle, than not.,

my advice? try a malamute or husky.. pretty and damn cool just lil scary
but good loyal dogs

No. For starters, it would probably be a nightmare to find homeowners insurance. You could also forget traveling with one in terms of hotel stays or finding a kennel to take it while you wanted to travel.

Unless you are very experienced with dogs, and are able to communicate with them very well, a wolf would never be a good companion for you. I never had a wolf, but I did have an Australian dingo. She was a wonderful friend and companion, my greatest love for the 16 years we were together. I am very fortunate. I have always been able to actually talk to dogs and understand their responses. Many children have this ability, but the adult world convinces them it is just their imagination. I knew it was real, so I have never lost the ability.

The shelters are full of dogs that need good homes, sadly some get put down before that happens. Wolves belong in the wild. Get it?

[@423488,curiosi] This is very true about shelters. I presently have 2 dogs. One is a German pinscher who was deserted by the man who used to live across the road from me when he moved. It was December, she was starving. I began to feed her, and she adopted me as her human. My other dog is a beagle-bull, a beagle - pit bull mix. He looks like a giant beagle and is a very sweet dog who just wants to snuggle all day long. He was in a shelter and I adopted him. I am retired. These two doggies are my constant companions. We all love each other a lot.

[@189866,pagandad] Mine is a beagle-bull as well. So SWEET! I apologize if I was a little harsh with my original answer but my fur baby almost got put down because she was at the shelter so long. She oozes sweet which is why she got an extended stay and thankfully I got there in time.
