Kinda like how most glasses companies are owned by the same one, how food groups own several chains that "compete", cable companies are working together in most instances, and pharmaceuticals are really just a handful of groups. Ain't life fun?

@GlassDog I love when a group competes with itself as though it's two companies. Whoever loses, they win.

@raysam363 You usually find that they've chosen who is going to win and lose in advance - whichever gives the entire group the best position to pay least tax overall. They win twice!

I did not know this.
I wonder if that's why OKCupid went more towards the swipe route in recent years.
