Are you rough around the edges or has life and experience polished you to a fine shine?

the former I’m not really in the right frame of mind

Not a shine, by any means. But life has definitely polished a few of the rough edges. I tend to think of it as just comfortable rather than shiny

I'm more smooth around the sides but a little dim.

I'm crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.

I am what life has made me.
