Jehovahs Witnesses.

How many times so far have the JW's wrongly predicted the end of the world? I have found 8 upto now..maybe there are more.
What makes someone continue in that faith after so many false predictions? Is Jehovah not telling them when the real Armageddon is due?

@Degbeme 😂
So has Ellen White made lots of predictions that have mot come true. A true prophet`s predictions, always come true.

My father was banned from JW ministers visiting him way back in the 70's! It seems he was the cause of their "lack of faith"! Baaaaaaaa
@DeWayfarer Oh, I see. Well I think he did enough and I'll tell you why. If he had not struck a chord to make them think about what they were teaching, they must have been convicted or they would not have banned him. So he did accomplish what he set out to do.

@LadyGrace you mean "convinced" I believe.

I believe you don't know the full story! My father once was friends with both Rev. Robert Schuller and Rev Liestma long before "hour of power" or the tower of hope! He wasn't ordained, yet did have lengthy discussions with Reverend Schuller. Eventually he distanced himself from Schuller. That was in the mid 60's when the tower of hope was built. So did Reverend Liestma who started a small church in the city of Orange.

Now what does all that have to do with this? He wanted to reach even more. Not for being note Worthy like others. Rather to do as much as possible. Hence his disappointment.
@DeWayfarer No. I meant convicted by God in their heart that they were wrong.

And you're right. I never heard the full story. Thanks for explaining. You're father sounds like a great man.

I find it absurd when self-identified Christians claim they can predict the end of the world. That negates the Bible's message that only God the Father knows when the world will end.

Why would something that's been here for 1000s of years suddenly end....this will still be here when I'm back for my next life....
