I grew up around Mexicans. I grew up around undocumented immigrants. And a lot of them don't want citizenship.

A lot of them just want to work and send their money back to Mexico. Many have families there so either they're going back or they are going to bring their families here. Many of them work illegally on someone else's visa or social security number. A fake i.d. Is also easy to get with the right connections. The IRS can't keep up with all the workers in America so they can get away with it for years.

There's a huge market in places like El Paso, Laredo, Tucson, San Diego, where truck drivers sneak Mexicans in for as low as $500 a head. There's so much freight that goes back and forth across the border so they can't search every vehicle.

Yes identity theft is big business. Think of what it does to our economy when they send money out of the country and do it on a grand scale, it weakens it. If we kept the money circulating here instead it would help a lot. They like to get jobs where no taxes are withheld and they should be filing self-employment but they don’t...work as long as they can till the IRS sends them or the boss a letter and then they quit and move to another job and do some more of it.

@cherokeepatti remember they are using fake soc. Sec numbers. Our govt is used to that money no.one will collect. The illegals got smart and claim 20 deductions on their taxes

@akindheart yes some of them do that. They might find an old house in the country away from prying eyes and have about 20-30 people living in it so they aren’t paying much in rent, and if they claim a young child they can file for food stamps, etc. and work cash jobs on the side.

I lived in Tucson for almost 14 years, we were lucky we never had any trouble with that.
