In your own words, how would you define "accountability"; and how do you associate it with "self reliance"?"

Jeez bro... Making us actually think again are you ?
Accountability means to me that I must be prepared to accept responsibility for what I do.
Hopefully I can rely on myself to step up to the plate with courage or humility when that happens.
On the other hand my inner conscience my or may not cooperate when the time comes. It can be a stubborn little mofo.

Say what you mean and mean what you say-accountability.
To be self reliant is to show responsibility, which is neccessary for accountability.

a word that is measured by others who want more from you. to associate it with self reliance is to lay the guilt on.

It is through accountability that I can be self reliant.
