What do you think of when you hear or see the word, "Nationalism"?

I think everyone has their own interpretation. For some it is synonymous with patriotism. For me nationalism means being blind to the faults of your country and defending those faults. Patriotism is loving your country despite it's faults.

Isolationism, protectionism, fear.

Racisism.

To me anyway. There's a difference between a bit of pride and been full on nationalist. However I do know everyone can take a different meaning from it so I wouldn't assume someone saying they are nationalist would mean racist
