Menstuation is tied to the lunar cycle. How interesting!

Full moon heightens our psychic awareness
and with menstrual blood, it is an overkill.

On the other hand, human menstruation cycle being around same as the Moon cycle WOULD make some more sense, because having consciousness & reasoning ability, human women could then use moon phase to determine when they were most likely to get pregnant both to ensure best offspring & try to time it so resources were available.

Fun fact: The menstrual synchronization of close together women often cited most likely doesn't exist, either, but people love to look for patterns anywhere they can.
