Can anyone explain this paradox: Democrats protect muslim terrorist, muslim terrorist shoots up gay nightclub, gays vote democrats.

@SW-User The democrats in the US and liberals here in Canada are very muslim friendly. In Canada a radical muslim came back to Canada having killed an American medic on the battlefield and the liberal government gave him over 10 million dollars.

@hippyjoe1955 Oh I see. So lets just assume all muslims are terrorist before they do any terrorist act. Gotcha. What Canada did was wrong but grouping everyone into the same category is stupid. Still no one knew that Omar was going to kill a bunch of people in the name of ISIS though. The FBI did however, they had been monitoring him for a while but they failed miserably at stopping him. In a sense what should be investigated is why counterterrorism sucks.

@GoodCatholicGirl If that is the way you are reading it you are wrong. Most muslims don't follow their religion very closely.

@hippyjoe1955 I know Islam. And It’s not a great religion. However, someone practicing a religion does not mean treat them like they are a threat for doing so. Practicing a religion is one thing, but a person is still a person.

@SW-User The point is how close is anyone individual following his/her religion. If you take the Christian message and apply it as best you can you wind up with a Mennonite. If you take the muslim message and do the same you wind up with ISIS.

@hippyjoe1955 With any religion taken close to heart anyone can become extreme. The Westboro Baptist Church members follows under this example. So do people of Christian faith who attack abortion clinics with the intention to kill as many people as possible. But similar to Muslims I’m not going to treat Christians like the enemey because of a few idiots.

@SW-User Westborough Baptist are not Christian. The children of the founder have realized that as well. I think you have confused those who try to adapt their aberrant teachings into the religion like Westborough and even the Roman Catholic church as opposed to those who take an honest and take a deep look into the scriptures of their religion and try to follow them as close as humanly possible.

And even though the Westboro Baptist church is not directly christian, there are plenty of Christians who follow the same theology as they do. They just don’t employ the same attention seeking methods as WBC does.

Then look at the area where the greatest evils exist and look at its foundational religion. Funnily enough all the prosperous area are Judaeo/Christian. The evil area are all mulsim.

@hippyjoe1955 I have looked into other countries. And In parts of Africa, Christians there still murder those who they accuse of being a Witch. In most of Latin America where Catholicism is heavily practiced, Women face jail time for getting an abortion. Here in the states some Christians support conversion therapy. In other words Christianity is not entirely peaceful.
