@SW-User well it is Yorkshire lol

Haha! I'm guessing one of those signs was meant to be facing the other way?
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@GlassDog yes, the 30 one, but probably no one else has noticed lol
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@TheWildEcho I noticed it has a weird position on the pole, like someone has rotated it around. Least they have a sense of humour!
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@GlassDog yes but even if they rotated it back it would still be in a funny position lol

I don't get it

That is too funny...I assume it is 30 kms!!🤔😄

Is that actually a road, as it looks too narrow for a vehicle!!🤔
faith2hope4love · 56-60, F
@TheWildEcho I thought you used the Metric system as we do!!🤔

When vehicles meet how do they pass by each other, if the road is narrow?

It would be impossible here for two full size pickups to pass on a narrow road unless they drove off the side of the road to avoid a collision.

We have lots of space for larger vehicles in Canada!!😏😄

@faith2hope4love every few hundred yards there is a wider bit called a passing place where you wait for an approaching car
faith2hope4love · 56-60, F
@TheWildEcho That is a good idea...I thought there must be an easier way!!😉😊

Our street signs are different, 😯but I'm guessing these two sighs don't go together?!
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@Peaches no, the one on the left means 30 mph and the other means national speed limit which is 60
Peaches · F
@TheWildEcho Confusing isn't it?! 🤔 Well it's so beautiful out there, I'd just pull the car over and walk. 😁🚗
I’m sorry...? Probably obvious, but our signs are different where I live. 🙃

@bijouxbroussard The one on the left means "Drive no faster than 30 miles per hour". On the right means "End of speed limit". In Ulster we have a long-distance walk called the Ulster Way, where most of the direction signs have been blown around to point the wrong way. The number of times I've had to pay a farmer to drive me round on his tractor looking for my car ....!
@alan20 Oh, my ! Thank you for explaining it. 😊
@alan20 😂
