So are infant's bodies just unable to process anything besides milk and formula?

What would their digestive tract do with chicken? Just push it out looking the same it did when it went in?

They can’t chew it.

@Infinlit what if you mash it up?
Infants mouths are, most of them don’t have teeth to chew the chicken with.

Thick Sauces are integrated once the baby is a few months old.

@LithiumDrop I'm just wondering what would happen if you could get them to ingest it. Like would their organs know what to do with it?
@Eternity Not a new born, their esophagus is not strong enough to swallow thick liquids.

Breastmilk provides nutrients and antibodies a baby needs. It’s much more beneficial than formula.

If would be a few months until the baby is able to chew on their own and swallow without the risk of choke being a factor.

It is usually within the third or fourth month that they are then given yogurts, fruit sauces.. thicker foods.

Generally, an infants organs work as well as that of an adults, assuming the infant is healthy...
