shops need to cater to short people

i went shopping a while ago and i always pick up the gummy candies as they are cheap and the store i went to have rearranged so they are now on one of the top shelf's. and then to rub salt into the wound when i asked for help after they passed it down they asked where my mummy was and i shouldn't wonder off. im a damn teenager not a young child.

sorry for the rant needed to vent.

Short people can't always reach, tall people often have to duck to keep from bonking their heads - the world is designed for a pretty wide "average", but we all have to put up with inconveniences from time to time. 😚

Then it becomes biased against normal sized people. See how dumb liberal policies are.

So relatable 😂
@Harunaorekko Just ask for assistance they must help you..if they make comments report them to the shop manager. I'm sure the shops do get complaints but some just won't care enough.

It's all good, I've heard other similar stories. I would think in today's day an age we would be more accommodating and a little more sympathetic.

😟
Someone put a tin of biscuits I got given for Christmas on top of my wardrobe and I have no way of getting them down. Small people have feelings too 😠
The shops put things up too high if you ask mem. Im 5ft 2" and I wear heels shopping and I can't reach some things.

I would say the opposite. I often bang my head on overhead signage in shops because they seem to think hanging them 6 feet high is enough.
