how do you deal with trust issues?

don't trust anyone right away. but set a standard that someone can earn your trust. keep it based on actions and reliability.

Give the person one chance - if you get burned - trust is over. Very simple.

I don't. If I dont trust someone I won't deal with them.

By not trusting anyone I am learning

Maintaining an awareness of their existence and an objective eye on their effects. Am I being fair? Am I projecting the past onto the present? It doesn’t mean trust isn’t possible. Just not all ahead full.

I’m trying. I can’t keep not trusting or I’ll push away the ones I shouldn’t. I’m taking my concern to God. That’s where all of my hope in everything is now.
