I'm feeling a knot in my stomach because someone i really care about is in pain.

I have a friend who was experiencing a constant ringing sound in one of their ears. Within 2 days they realise that there's no sensitivity left in that particular ear. They're completely deaf in that ear all of a sudden. They're afraid they have something called tinnitus which can lead to permanent hearing loss...they've a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I'm so scared for them. I really really care about this person and i know if they become deaf even in one ear, it will be devastating for them. Please pray for them.... I can't see them losing hope.
