Do you ever fantasize about having tons of money and just going around pleasantly shocking people that are in a bind by 'rescuing' them?

That's one of my favorite day dreams. Just cruising around looking for folks in desperate situations and fixing things and situations ........God! That would be so much fun!

(Of course my other fantasy is being a right wing authoritarian dictator with lots of work camps and re-education centers, but that's another post.)

My fantasy is to figure out how to save the unborn and defeat childhood cancer
@questionWeaver Stopping the holocaust of frivolous abortion is a very serious and daunting priority. It would take a major change of collective consensus, and strong divine intervention. The resistance is volatile .
@puck61 It is ... I save my best prayers for this
@questionWeaver "The prayer of a 'righteous' man availeth much." Your prayers are heard.

@questionWeaver if you are successful ending abortion we are gonna have lots more crack addicted babies with no parents to raise them. better set up a system now, to take care of the millions of disabled, parentless children.
SunnyLife · 41-45, F
@questionWeaver stop rapists, abusive partners, some form of Contraception that you take once and an antidote to said contraception for when you decide you want children
@eatpraylove That is a valid point. I suppose that's why I had to say, "frivolous abortion". It might have been 'wishy washy' to leave room for that argument, but in 'this' culture, the end of abortion would be the biggest boom the incarceration industry ever had! Smart money would be buying prison stock like crazy!
@eatpraylove you are evil
@SunnyLife please never reply to my comments or posts ever again
@eatpraylove Oh! By the way, you've probably already heard, but if you play commodities, corner as much silver as you possibly can, and you will rake it in big time in the next 20 years! (remember me!)
😉
SunnyLife · 41-45, F
@questionWeaver because I am against rape, abuse and people who can't support them selves, your reply to @eatpraylove is more fitting for you
EVIL
@SunnyLife

No, because instead of asserting that as a thread or as your own post

You stuck it in front of me

Who has done nothing to affront you.

Your point that you do not value innocent, defenseless unborn children, was well made.

And that is evil, by the definition of evil and civility.

Live it, adjust to it ... but you can not escape it without abandoning your views.
eatpraylove · 56-60, F
@questionWeaver i am evil because i want to plan ahead to take care of disabled, parentless children? you are kidding, right?
@SunnyLife Well, I am as guilty as anyone of this, but I'm sorry this thread went south. Questionweaver is a good and thoughtful person who bravely holds the courage of his convictions . His armor is made of better stuff than mine. I waver with my subtle disclaimers. I know that 'this' culture would suffer immensely if an across the board abortion ban was to happen. Even as bipedal sentient primates who formed groups long ago, in times of famine, newborns were "dashed upon rocks" to the sake of the survival of the group. Today, those unwanted children would simply fill prisons and provide an appetite that would only benefit Mexico, the near east, and Asia. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule.
@eatpraylove
Not kidding

The dignity of defenseless innocent promising unborn children, does not hinge on the creation of an efficient workable process.

All life is precious

All life is entitled to dignity

All life should be defended

No life should be extinguished because society is short one bureaucracy
eatpraylove · 56-60, F
@questionWeaver very confusing, so you DO want the children cared for or you don't? if in 2019 we have one million new babies that have fetal alcohol syndrome and no parents, we need a plan right? an increased foster system maybe? or not orphanages i hope, but a million is a lot. do you think churches would help? more than they are helping now? how much more?
@eatpraylove The problem is irresponsibility, and a popular ideology that encourages irresponsibility. It's hard to pass legislation outlawing irresponsibility.
@eatpraylove lol ... you are discussing quality of life ... that is a political issue

I am aspiring to protect life from extinguishment ... this is a matter of base civility.

If we don't have civility, quality of life has no reference or merit.
eatpraylove · 56-60, F
@questionWeaver ok so i will put you down for NOT taking care of the kids.
thanks questionweaver.
@questionWeaver @eatpraylove Maybe we could look at the context of the response that Questionweaver posted. He used two words in his response that might make a difference .
"figure out"
Figuring out how to stop the holocaust of abortion would logically include those things that cause abortion other than the moral constitution of some poor desperate woman who was taken advantage of by some thoughtless sperm container. It almost sounds idealistic to me, because this world is overflowing with thoughtless sperm containers.
@eatpraylove

@questionWeaver this original post was about charity. you are the one that turned it into a right to life debate. so you want it to stay one sided? you want to preach to us and not have us give our opinion? this is a public forum sir. you need a pulpit.
@eatpraylove lol ... this is no debate society ... or public forum.

Where do you get that idea?

There are no rules here

I am discarding your commentary ... it is a free speech right

I have no issue with the Poster deleting what I write.
eatpraylove · 56-60, F
@questionWeaver exactly, so why are you telling people to not respond to your comments? are you special?
@eatpraylove

I was just offering you an easy out

You don't like it, we can go the flagging / blocking route.

Am pragmatic, it all gets us to the same place.
