I have been asking my roommate to clean her room

And take care of the few pieces of furniture and whatever else she hauled over I to my garage for three weeks now. And she told me each time after talking to her about it that she will she will on her three days off the first time...by the end of the next week this second time and last night even asking if I could and she could haul stuff to Goodwill last night...she said she was gonna bring g dishes up I am missing quite a few...and suggested at least do a little here n there get rid VB of the trash the barrel is empty and trash day is Monday. She said she had a lot of work to do before bed...she had a friend come out last night. I look this morning dishes were not brought up and trash bin has no more than last night in it.. her floor is covered with clothes....tons of trash.. four pizza boxes lots of fountain drink well cups around. U cannot walk in the room without tripping over something.. I dobt wanna know whatrodents and bug that room attracted...I dobt even fricken wanna know...so now what do I do since I been communicating with her...that it needs o be done and she keeps saying she will. And also says her time is limited with her work schedule..so many excuse...do I say since u haven't I am giving u a 30 day notice...do I ay either get this done by say 3 days or you need to find a place to go...I mean it aint getting one at all.its my house she dobt pay rent.. etc...been here for 2.5 yrs.i am getting pissed. I need my house back.i need my garage clean so my stuff has a place.and just have it not cluttered with her shit...it's not much takes a few to get it outta here I dobt get this shit but it's pissing me off

You need to make her go. She is NOT going to become a different person. When you have to be someone's Mother in a roommate situation...someone has to go. Unless you are in a relationship with her...why go through this...and I am just curious...I get that she will attract critters but...why are YOU going in HER room? And did you say she does not pay rent? There might be more to this story.

@Fernie well it's my house...I can open her door and see all this clearly without stepping in it. It actually is my daughter's room she was nice enough to give it up and let this girl stay in it..and I have gone in it when my power got shut off and when it got turned back on and had to turn the switches off in breaker box for them to do so and it's in the room she stays in.no she hasn't paid a dime at any time during her 2.5 year stay it was the agreement when I allowed her to stay never said anything this entire time and when she got her job..she wasnt working during most of this time til Dec or Jan this year.she told me she would start paying and I haven't seen a dime or asked. She rather go to see her mom or her dad or her friend on her time off take my kids to the lake or go to casino and who knows what else. Her room is disgusting. And the entire situation is just screwed up. I hate to see what she says if I asked for rent...I am not at the moment just asking of these two things that really wo t take much time at all if she took one time to clear and dump trash....bro g dishes up another...then bag allthe clothes she has for goodwill and drop them off..she drives right by one literally 2 min away from her work...crazy how she doesn't handle this

@michgirl75 Either you make her go or not. If you like living this way you'll let her stay.

@Fernie do u think I should even tho I haven't discussed much of anything but solely going on the fact I asked this of her and she isn't getting it done? I haven't communicated well up to this point on these two things meaning I haven't brought up no rent or the fact that I buy mfood for my dogs and her dog gets fed what I buy she may have a few times bought some...I don't wanna live this way no! In a way I feel bad I never brought anything up or is this enough to go on alone to get her out leaving everything else alone?

@cashless I definitely haven't with a warning tone ..been nice about it but I been making or so I thought clear that it needs done in asking her every week (since I brought it up) when it doesn't happen..maybe why she isn't taking it serious I guess!!
