What’s the biggest lie you’ve ingested?

Once upon a time I had this friend I got to know very well.
We hanged out everyday for 6 months, nicest person ever.I got super close to her.
Then one day she told me she lied, it was a personality she created just to screw with me.She then told me that she hoped I commited suicide and told me she had made others do it😓

It was a more so shocking..like someone died..since I never knew her from the start.She didnt exist.It took me two months to emotionally and mentally recover from that.Absolutely traumatizing.

My marriage.
Turns out, it was one big lie.

Man what an idiot I was 😣

That family = loved. Sometimes your family is incapable of loving you for various reasons and you need to create your own love and family.

My grandpa told me he saw a guy on a hoverboard going around our local high school track after Back to the Future 2. I believed that shit till I was prob 15

Someone told me God was dead. That's a lie. I know because God saved me in 2002.

That when i grew up, i'd meet the girl of my dreams, we'd have kids and a house and live happily ever after. I was told, you just do nothing... don't look for it and it will magically happen 🙄

I probably haven't discovered the biggest lie I've bought into. The biggest lie I've discovered was the fact that a very small portion of the population owns the vast majority of controlling parties in my country.
