Id sooo rather go to an actual business or talk to an actual person locally than buying online

I am the opposite. I freak out going into stores because of the markup on everything. Take motorcycle mufflers as an example, these sell for 500+ dollars here, but I can buy one from China for $18. I would have to be crazy to lose that much money.

I know the line about supporting local businesses and all that, but seriously, this is my money, I can decide who to give it to, and how much. Stores just have too much overhead paying rent and staff and storage space etc etc, Online is the future IMO.

Yes. I think when you locate the business, etc., it's really good to just get out and about and have that personal interaction.
