I think that civil war is the last thing that we need. Civil wars are horrible, bloody, scarring events that tear every part of a society - families, friends, neighborhoods. Also, unlike the last civil war we had, I doubt we'd have a government on government fight, grey vs. blue. I think we'd have a fuckload of terrorists, militias, and other miscellanious groups attacking each other, civilians, and governmental figures while the government responds by increasing its use of force.

Nobody wins, and if things get really bad, we'd end up like Yugoslavia, or worse, Sudan.

I think im a pretty left wing person. Not the hardest left, but...

look at that map. Sure, Blue has the population base, Red has the nation.

It would be terrible. Red would win. While we've been campaigning against guns, and trying to limit their sales, theyve been buying them. They hunt. They enlist in the army. they fight the wars.

We debate equality, gender identity and if pb&j sandwiches are racist (and which jellys are transphobic).

While it would be militias and terrorist attacks - your city looks like Sarajevo in 1995.
