Ever wonder if a person in charge doesn't think you have enough empathy and that's what this is all about?

No. I have WAY too much empathy and am often negatively affected by it. (Don't get me wrong--I think it can be a good thing, and Id rather be this way than the opposite. It's just...really difficult sometimes.)
