@fluteacorn can't you say you want to talk to her in private? And by talking to her you could explain why you do that and why you don't want your dad to know. Maybe you could find a solution together like go to a psychologist. I found out my sister was cutting some time ago and I immediately talked to my mom about it without telling her. Then we had a talk all together and she's clean for over a year now. I understand that the Situation might be too different, since my sister didn't even need to go to therapy, but what I'm trying to say is maybe someone else knowing will help you quit. You may feel embarrassed now, I know I would, because it's awful to be exposed like that, especially to your family, I know it's shocking too, but you can view it as a clean slate.
