You need to try a get yourself into the habit of only buying what you need rather than what you want. The phone you have meets your needs so stick with that. Plan to upgrade three years from the date you purchased it then put money aside eac week. It's what I do. Good luck with it.

@HoMi163 a good family would teach you how to live within your means so that you can survive without them. I know it doesn't sound fun but if you don't learn this when you're young you'll make a huge mistake with big purchases like cars etc later. In my job I see lots of people go bankrupt because of this then there's no more buying at a click of a button. I don't know what to suggest but it you need to work out how to control it rather than it controlling you. My guess is that if you can find something else to take the place of wanting to buy, you'll be ok.

I still have my iPhone 6+ from 2015 march. It has only 16 GB, 95% filled, I have enough money to buy the latest one and not get affected financially at all, but I prefer to go with my phone as long as is working.
