Why

I never understood why when someone dies someone always says "they're in a better place". If that's true why don't we just end our own lives now to get there instead of waiting until we are too old to make it to the bathroom intime and are wearing adult diapers?

It's something people say to give comfort because people believe that person no longer suffers.
Ending our lives creates suffering for many others.
