OMG, this brings back memories of my college days. I took a class on dysfunctional families, there's one or two more I believe but can't remember? I was the funny one that tried to make everyone laugh at home. We grew up in a family where no one ever really knew each other. You weren't suppose to feel, touch, or EVER say what was really going on!!! I hid behind jokes and as much laughter from friends as I could find to cope.🎭

I think friends and family see me as a hero but the truth is I'm nothing more than a very lost child.

@puck61 I may be quiet and a little reserved..I may mumble some..but,I am just another weirdo trying to find another weirdo to share life with...
@SW-User And we didn't even need lots of beer! Hooray!

I don't know. I think I was lost a bit in my 20's.

Lost child
@NeuroticByNature You seem to have come through with flying colors! The lost child has the roughest row to hoe and is most likely to commit suicide in my opinion. It's sad that some people have to 'clam up' to survive or keep some semblance of sanity.

@puck61 i dont think it was anyones fault. My childhood wasnt bad but I am weird and always was.
Yeah. I can see what you're saying. I grew up in some weird shit, but in some ways, I was very fortunate too. I was a proud oddball, and probably would have been either way.

I'm none of those. I had parents and grandparents who loved me.

Used to be a scapegoat...
@SW-User I was the mascot / scapegoat. The family dynamic kind of allowed for that 'cusp'.
None of the above.
