Myth: the battle of chickamauga like other battles fought in and around Chattanooga was won by the North.
Fact: this lil known battle was the last major battle won by the south. It was fought in late 1863 which tells you the south was loosing the last half the war. The battles of Chattanooga, mission ridge, lookout mountain etc were northern victories.
