To be punished means you misbehaved .... So even if you hate it , you have to accept it and to submit ...

Of course I too hate to be punished. Not only is it always unpleasant and embarrassing to be confronted with having behaved in a way that warrants punishment but punishment is not meant to be liked; it is meant to be so unpleasant that it re-establishes good order and encourages to improve the behaviour and attitude. A sound and thorough spanking at the right time does this and the knowledge of such a spanking being the inevitable consequence of naughtiness also is a deterrent that makes it much easier to remember how to behave.

This is particularly true as the child gets older .. .. .. it is not as easy to deliver if there is substantial resistance.. .. ..
