Depends on the people. I've had people I met online that I then met real life and it felt like seeing a long lost friend after years away rather than a total stranger. I've also had some that were huge misses. Like anything i supposr...hit or miss

They can. I moved across the country to be with her after a year of long distance and flying back and forth. It ended, but they aren't impossible.
