I Dont Need Religion To Be A Good Person
A question was asked ,Are you good enough ,or do you know better deep down inside
Sorry if the title seems misleading ,I chose the closest one they offered .
I used to feel that way ,deep down I'm not good enough ,but now I know better .
its not my merits that make me special .
its the merits of the one who showed me I am loved that changed me ,
and remember this was someone else's Question ,and it was a deep one ,so the question was pretty deep ,so I am giving you a deep answer .
I was trying to get good enough to approach Christ ,turns out He was trying to talk to me all along ,so ,when He wants to get your attention ,He has His ways LOL
Now I know, its not about me ,its all for the Father ,We were created for Him ,so if we just love Him ,He will make us perfect ,and the Joy and the Liberty in that .I am so grateful I just want to tell everybody.
Once you get it, that kind of love changes you ,you can't get more perfect then He can make you ,But sorry ,its more then "Pleading the Blood ,and knowing how to say Jesus "
And the best part is He made it so you can't earn it .If you could be "good enough ,you wouldn't need a Saviour ,we all sin and fall short .but all you need to do it get how simple it is ,and through Him ,you too can be the righteousness of God
All you have to do,,, is finally get to know Him .and what His will is ,and share it with the world ,He could not save them all ,but are you wiling to try ?He wants you to show Him to the world in your actions ,How much of Him shows in you ?And do you really know His will and what He really expects of you ,or just what some Church told you He wants ?
Once you really know , He sets your mind at ease ,and also meets all your needs and as you study to know more about Him ,He gets you ready for a job the world is going to tell you is impossible to do ,and more then likely will ask you what makes you think He would ever use someone like you ,See ,they didn't read the book ,or they would know ,it people that other would ask that question about ,are the perfect ones to use ,So they know Christ changed you ,,this is not the character they once knew .
Someone like me who always tried to be good ,a good person ,but I always fell short somehow ,my temper ,my habits ,my wanting to render evil for evil ,so quick to want an eye for an eye ,and I did not believe anyone who said what I am saying now ,I was one to tell ya Straight up ,Christians are full of crap ,but I also seen very few who practiced what they preached ,and the Bible .Hear a lot of joke filled sermons and a whole lot of condemnation ,but few who actually come Monday practiced what they preached
I used to wonder how can someone face the the threat of death for a belief ,,Like Daniel or the Hebrews men just for not bowing .men like Joseph ,beat by his brothers ,sold as a slave but still trusted God
now i know ,
The same one who took my shame and guilt ,I am fully persuaded can also raise the dead .
I have seen so many things man can't explain ,here are just a few .
If He can give my Daughter a new spine ,kept guns from firing meant to kill me ,and place forgiveness in my heart for people I should hate .Give me back my kids hidden from me for 12 yrs ,and in spite of all my screw ups, they love and respect me ,and now so do their kids ,and I really need for nothing .,and I said thats just a few things
I look foreword to seeing what comes in the time to come
in a place our minds can't even comprehend what He has for us ,
So by mans standards ,I may have never been good enough ,
but now I know according to His ,I am more then a conquer ,
I am the righteousness of God ,
And the ones who say "Prove it ,I feel sorry for them ,or they say they know Him but nothing has changed,their life is a constant battle ,and they never have any Joy ,its just battle after battle but "praise God ,I know its just that ole slew foot trying to sway me ,they prove they don't know Him .God does not have us here to show how much we can suffer ,He wants us to show they world we can overcome it ,and each trial makes us stronger .
He tells us how to make the devil flee ,How to overcome the world not be a part of it ,and they are always trying to be perfect in their own eyes ,and use others instead of Christ and His law as their standard .
If they knew Him Like they profess ,they would know ,Perfect to Christ and perfect to man are 2 different things .
They would know I don't need to perfect ,,according to them .I am just what Christ wants me to be ,an imperfect vessel willing to be used to glorify Him .
They would hear Him and see His hand when it moves and can feel Him too,not the tickles you get when the music is good and the preacher says "the Holy Spirits Here "
I hope you brought Him with you when you came ,,He does live in you right ?
and you can't fake that ,When all Hell is breaking loose,and you feel calm , Hear the truth and know its truth ,Spiritual things spiritually understood,,
And they would know what Christ made clear ,He says He hides in simplicity ,uses the simple things to confound the wise .
But this one is not hid ,"How do we know that we love Him? its there or its not The answer to that question is repeated in the New Testament over 150 times ,
And they can tell me all they want about what He has done for them and how many times they have been spared ,And how many Angels they have seen ,its more to it then that ,way more
Are you doing what He asked you to do ?
Are you telling others about satans lies
or are you still defending traditions of the Church ,breaking Gods laws ,ignoring His and His Prophets ,you know the ones He said heaven and Earth would pass before one jot or tittle fails to come to pass ,
Are you ignoring Christ when He tries to send someone to warn you ?
and if you know ,are you afraid to share the truth with others ? ,or are you scared of what they will think of you ,or what it might cost you to do it His way ,not the popular way but Gods/Christs way ?
or are your still going through the motions pretending like so many others ,,when you know you have never heard Him ,your just doing what someone else told you this is what Christians do ?
have you considered what grieving the Holy Spirit is ,or using His name in vain ,or being a stumbling block as you teach others to do exactly what He said not to do ?
Compromise with the world and say thats what God told us to do ?
what is the unpardonable sin ?
And I don't mean your habits ,things that are gone with use ,I mean what comes out of you ,,are you washing the cup ,but nothing has changed inside you ?
He is ready for you to get serious with Him ,you can't hide who you are .
He see's it all ,,I'm still a sinner too .
I just know who made me righteous and what He wants me to do .
Ready to know Him too ? He's right there ,talk to Him ,read His Word
I assure you ,He has been dying to talk to you
