Absolutely. What does being single have to do with being comfortable. Live life your way.

No need for a huge bed even if there were two of you. Added bonus it's easier to make up a queen bed rather than a king and the sheets are cheaper as well.

I have been single all my life, and have always had a queen as a post-college adult. I like the width. I could not stand a twin again.

If you are used to sleeping in a king bed, don't change to a queen.
