Why do people live like pigs

I dont know whether I have just been unfortunate to go in houses where people don't seem to be able to see dirt or whether it is a larger problem , but I have seen some horrific houses usually belonging to single parents or guys under about 30 some so bad you wipe your feet on the way out .How can people live like it I know I couldn't.?

Because they are not you. Everybodies priorities are different. Everybody sees the world like nobody else does. Make your life comfortable and don't worry what others are doing. Some people look at an emaculate house and think WTF? Why are they so excessively tidy? Do they not have anything better to do? There's normally psychological reasons for people who are messy and dirty but also people who are tidy and clean can have psych issues too. You need to find a balance and not judge others.

I've went into some friends houses and started ripping out dry wall without asking... if there is mold, I'm helping save your life with or without your permission... I'll fix it for u, but I definitely am not going to be in there and u don't want u around it.

Did you know that this is a bit unfair towards pigs? They are very clean animals actually. And quite intelligent too.
