Tips for surviving online multiplayer

1. If someone says they're from Xbox Live, Playstation Network, Valve, EA, Activision or they say their dad/uncle works for them...they don't.

2. Take everything everyone ever says with a pinch of salt.

3. Never take point, that's what "allies" are for.

4. Only run when the guy in front of you is dead, never when that guy starts getting shot.

5. Patience is key

6. "Insert quote from The Art Of War about an angry opponent making more mistakes* P.S. Stay calm

7. You are not the best there ever will be, keep your head in the now and you'll do better, even if "the now" is pleb number 23676

8. If someone says they're a hacker...they aren't...a hacker wouldn't gloat.

9. If you keep getting your ass kicked...try something else.

10. Don't run in like an idiot...that's how the last guy died...the one you whined about being an idiot...remember?

Number 10 is generally true but not in my case I guess :v
I do it 24/7 and it's so fun in most multiplayers when you get the hang of close-combat

You forgot number 11 too

11. Mind games are key

As long as you're competent in the game, tournaments and rank-scaled matches are really the only time you need to worry about the enemy skills as the vast majority of 'gamers' are filthy casuals.

I hate people who whine "Ahh, nerf this, nerf that. All you do is snipe, all you do is use the shotgun." It's irritating tbfh
