Yes, I went to school back in the days when kids had fun. Sure, we all got hit in the face with that damned ball but we lived. And we learned how to lose, something the youth of today don't seem to have been taught.

It was in playing dodgeball that I perfected the only athletic skill at which I excelled: Having the ball bounced off my face.

lol of-course, I went to school in the 70's and 80's when everything was game, no "oh we can't play that someone might get hurt."

All the time in PE. I was always one of the last ones to go out. Not because I was such a good player, or could throw good, but because I was very good at dodging.

It was probably the game I was best at. Too bad there were no organized teams for it then.

As long as you remember the 5 Ds: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive...and Dodge.

Oh yeah, it took me quite awhile to get the hang of it and not get hit.
