do you think people who ALWAYS prefer character creation in video games are egotistical?

i like character creation and all, but what about those who don't like playing any game that doesn't have character creation/customization because they are forced to put their shoes in someone else they can never relate to.

are you one of those people? do you have certain times where you just want to create your own character instead of playing a preset. not everyone likes character creation and certainly i've seen a number of people watching the Kingdom Come Series hating on not being able to create a character as well

PS: i'm a fan of creation myself and sometimes i find it difficult to enjoy the game when i play as someone i'm not but then i'm sure i'm not alone
