Bethesda keep making odd choices...

...like why did they go with classic Doomguy armour instead of just porting the new and updated Praetor suit into their Creation Club?

They already did it with The Morgan suit from Prey...I'd totally spend money on that armour, but no, we've been reminded why a 2D image doesn't always translate well to 3D.

Yeah, that armor's fucking ugly. Also, however, it proves an unfortunate point: Creation Club isn't canon. So even if they add proper quests and stories (It's doubtful they will), they won't be canon.

@RoboChloe The only two items even remotely worth it are the backpack and the Gauss rifle...because the Gauss rifle ingame looks like a scrapyard had dirty sex with a rusty tractor.

@Fangirlsarah1996 There's a backpack mod as well, though that's one of the rare occasions where there's an argument for the CC version being as good as, or maybe beter than the free version (At least until someone does it better, which the inevitably will). Also, yeah. the Gauss rifle... xD

@RoboChloe Yeah, it's because the backpack was worked on by a good modder, not some nobody.

But yeah the Gauss rifle seems good for what it is.

They seem to overvalue nostalgia. Sometimes it works really well, like referencing Morrowind characters in Skyrim, but other times it's just lame
