Favorite Planetary Object in the Solar System?

I say 'planetary object' and not simply 'planet' so that dwarf planets and moons can feel included too. Anyway, what is your favorite? And yes, you can be boring and pick Earth. I won't stop you.

My personal favorite is Saturn. The complex ring and shepherd moon systems around it and all the atmospheric complexities of the gas giant itself are just endlessly and stunningly beautiful to me.

Jupiter and its moons.

@Summersong: It's huge yeah, though now we're finding it's actually kinda small-moderate in comparison to other gas giants in the universe. It's still huge. To me I really like thinking about all the crazy states of matter inside of it. Giant liquid metallic oceans with metal rain and such.

@UndeadPrivateer: it's both so familiar and foreign. I'm crap with what the planets are like on their surfaces but Jupiter's storms and how its color varies based on chemical composition...I love it.

@Summersong: It's really interesting stuff, I definitely see the allure.
The most harmful one for human habitation.

@MsAnnThropy: So Earth? Or do we just want dead as fuck? In that case Venus. Simultaneously being melted by acid, superheated to molten lead temperatures, crushed under thousands of times the weight of Earth's atmosphere, massively electrified and with a only semi-solid highly volcanic surface. You'd have to plunge into the heart of a gas giant to get much harsher than that.

Saturn. It's ring systems, the bizarre hexagonal polar storm ... wow.

Earth. The big blue marble.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@LittleRoundbottom: It is quite the interesting little slimy ball of rock, I'll give it that.

Halley's Comet
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand: Eh, I'll take it. It's pretty. I have a photo of the thing on one of the walls in my house, taken by a family friend.
Mordi · 31-35, M
Io or Titan.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@Mordimoux: Both of those are old favorites of mine, they're very nice too. I'm partial to Titan now but Io has quite the striking visage from space.
