It's an odd feeling when you put quite a lot of time into reading or watching the work of someone...

To find someone who pretty much spends zero time reading or researching anything past when their next pay check and meal is has a negative opinion of that person simply because a BBC article told them to hate them. Society is going down hill. Very few people really read into anything anymore. The establishment media just have to spend the headline and the first paragraph smearing someone and the average person will eat it up. Even if you give them undeniable evidence that refutes the media lie, the person will continue to believe it like a religious person holding onto a religious myth despite reality. No wonder society is going downhill.

I think it's mostly that regardless of facts and validity of source, If it suits their narrative and belief system then they'll choose to believe it anyway. You're basically feeding from the idiot troth if you aren't willing to see past it and at least be honest.
Not liking a person doesn't make the truth unimportant, unless you're an ideologue.

I agree. Media are quick to use sensationalised headlines at times and that’s all a few read. Being misinformed but forming a judgment regardless

@IrishPat Couple their stance of "i won't research even partially into any figure the msm calls "hateful/other buzzword" with "anyone who is hateful/other buzzword should be physically attacked and also censored so they cant peacefully respond" and look at the mess the UK is in.
