how many cartilage are there,

I think its a wrong question ..cartilage is not discrete like bones or teeth ( also bones ) but they are continuous bands present at many places like ears , nose , between two vertibrae and many joint places as cartilage packing as a means for lubricant and alowing fluent movement without slipping or pain ..but i am not a bio grad ..this is just highschool knowledge ..you should google it .
