What does CYP genes mean?

Ancestry dna raw data.
Faust76 · 46-50, M
There's several that start with CYP (Cytochrome P450 or type of iron-containing protein). But seriously looking at the raw data without understanding is worse than Googling one's symptoms. For instance, the raw data lists every gene that was tested regardless of the result, so one needs some kind of tool to highlight what's important in the first place.

@Faust76 I was looking at my raw data snps it scared me a bit, heterozygous and homozygous red and yellow and green.

@Tennessee2 Actually I guess you're using something to view them because I don't think genes & colors are a thing on AncestryDNA. But yeah, it takes some getting used to at the very least.
