Why do some folks deny climate change?

Are these the same folks that think the Earth is flat, men never walked on the moon, and Obama wasn't an American?

I admit it’s taking place yes , but know in reality mankind is only making less than 2% of the impact on it taking place . As with all cycles and periodic change in the earths structure and behaviour , it’s a sometime more rapid, Mother Nature will always compensate for her natural imbalance, it’s a know fact that the earths rotation is slowing by up too 4 minutes a year while ch and s affecting not only the gravitational centre of gravity but also the earth is tilting on its axis ,which in turn means the poles spend more time in the direct periods of sunlight longer . Which then obviously cause polor ice melting.
We all have to remember mankind’s existence on this planet and bring the second most dominant species is only a drop in the ocean of time in the earths existence , and we will be directly or indirectly the means to our own extinction , we will have our time , but as with all other domination of space and time , we will eventually cease to exist , as did the dinosaurs fir example , but Mother Nature will always overcome her next evolution and transformation . Heating and cooling over billions of year .
Mankind’s only foolish and cruel acts is how he impacts not only his fellow species, but thinks that he has the reason ams right to affect the evolution of other species , not all conservation is good , and mans right to control , obviously there are species that we have to take full Blame for there demise. Eg elephants ect which is just mans greed.
mither Nature will decrease the world population more rapidly then mankind himself can , but we are doing bf a pretty good job ourselves , we will hit the brick wall of science and medical advancement and mutation will be the eventual self destruction
As for moon walking and landings , only Americans can lead there own population to believe Such a thing , yes space exploration is possible now , but in the 1960’s , we did not even have cameras or satellite technology feeds to images from such a place ,

It's politically driven and scientists who question it are shouted down or financially strong armed into silence. That isn't how science works. Also volcanos produces more pollution than we can ever hope to create.
Because the “science” is garbage and has been proven to be highly inaccurate. Even the name has changed from “global warming” to “climate change.” One lie was clearly not working so we changed the name of the lie to something that will fit any narrative. Oh and the final solution for “climate change” is quite clear. Its the same cure that fits hand in glove with all socialists, whether their name is Stalin, Mao or Hitler: Extermination. Exterminate the humans and the “problem” is solved.

Climate has always changed for the entire history of the earth why would anyone deny that.
Ynotisay · M
@Tastyfrzz I hadn't. Just checked it out. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with climate change.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
The founder of the weather channel disputes the findings
robb65 · 56-60, M
@AnneHoney It's like the difference between believing a religion exist and believing IN that religion and that every detail it teaches is correct. I believe the climate is changing and has always been changing. I just don't believe those hollering about "climate change" and how we need to regulate the temperature of the planet( regardless of cost)have a clue. Scientist can't even agree if it is getting warmer or headed for another ice age.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
The problem with the climate change argument is it's based on flawed science. They ignored data that didn't support the hypothesis.
Ynotisay · M
@biandlargeny Wow. I know folks like you exist but it never ceases to blow my mind when I see it in action.
I'm not sure you really understand the scientific process and how it operates. Might be a good thing to check in to.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
What particular evidense do you think is being ignored? Do you think that nothing is in fact changing?
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
@Tastyfrzz they ignored data that didn't support global warming. When the data was expired they changed their theory to global cooling. Not they cover any possible change to climate change. The problem is their base premise that man has the ability to change the climate. I'll put it to you this way. One volcanic eruption does enough damage to the atmosphere to eradicate every effort that's been done to correct climate change. Additionally there are multiple active volcanoes daily.
Ynotisay · M
Here's what I don't get at ALL.
When there's a storm coming...they believe the scientists.
When they're given medication...they believe the scientists.
When there's a new astronomical discovery...they believe the scientists.
But climate change? The scientists are perpetrating a hoax.
It embarrasses me as an American...and as a human.

Not that bad . Some people have actual decent arguments
robb65 · 56-60, M
Many of the "climate change experts" were "global warming experts" until they realized that didn't quiet work and had to change their claims.

Do I believe mankind has had an influence on the climate? Yes. Do I believe these "experts" are capable of predicting these changes down to a degree or two and dial it back the way one would dial the thermostat in your house? Hell no.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Perhaps, but there are things that we know about atmospheric chemistry and greenhouse effects that logically could counteract some of the effects.
Ynotisay · M
@robb65 I bet you believe the reports about storms though, right?

Questioning things is good. Unfortunately sometimes people go off the rails. An unfortunate byproduct but perhaps a necessary one.

@Tastyfrzz theres too many people. Some are bound to do or beleive things on the fringe. We cant stop them. Sometimes we can convince them tho
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@SW-User it's still maddening.
Fernie · F
@Tastyfrzz it IS maddening...especially the denier deniers...
Fernie · F
and don't forget...the Holocaust never happened
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@Fernie that's another one. My mom was over there at the end of WWII as a nurse. She saw it.
Fernie · F
@Tastyfrzz anyone with a fraction of a brain knows these things are true and did happen. If the earth was flat...there would be some money making scheme going on where people pay to look over the edge.
