These kind of problems of technology were written about a couple of decades ago in the "Manefesto" of the so-called Unibomber...he threatened more bombs if his little screed wasn't published, so some newspapers, including the NY Times, published it. It was a very boring read--but his actual criticisms are interesting and probably worth some thought and discussion. If I'd been his English Composition teacher, he never would have needed to flip out and resort to violence to get his ideas across to people.

@RenaissanceMan education is important none the less. Not all of us turn out to be a sheep. Knowledge is important to be able to understand and take decisions. Indoctrination is a problem but still gain the knowledge wherever it comes from and then one can analyze whether its right or not as per their moral grounds or related to other aspects.
