When I created my Gmail acct I created a good

Password and now it is not being accepted. I have tried extensively changing it and it is not accepted. I forget the little things and now I cannot create a password the system accepts. Do I have to accept that this account can no longer be accessed? I have tried over and over and not a thing! Numbers, letters upper case and lower... and then I pause... what if I find one they at last accept, I wont be able to remember this one either.

THEN they throw in "A password you have never used"
HELP!
