Anybody else have an HP laptop that keeps shutting off?

I've had it two years. No problems until now. Keeps shutting off without warning.

Its heating up, that's only reason I can think of atm. if it's under warranty, get it checked.

@iamnikki Use this link and follow the instructions. It will test for any hardware failure.

the most likely cause like a few have suggested is overheating. You need to blow it out with compressed air and I would also suggest a chill pad that draws the heat out of a laptop

Heat issue.. .get a can of compressed air or a strong vacuum and clean it out as best you can.

Almost always a heat problem, you may have a broken fan. Take it in.

@SW-User its well taken care of, i dont carry my laptop anywhere so impossible for anything too happen too it that too i had it 8 mths before it started too fall apart.

Is it overheating? A can of compressed air on the vents might help
iamnikki31-35, F
@MikefromEP dont think so. I had just turned it on the last time. It was on for like 10 mins

@iamnikki When CPU heats up, PC shuts down. CPU takes bit of time to heat up, so yeah, it can be a heating issue.
I haven't used my HP for 3 years. Just stopped turning on. Then I lost the cord!!!

Battery problem, get it checked though.

@SW-User warranty expired as they always do when you need it
SW-User
@iamnikki still you can get checked. If you are out of warranty just do some expense on your laptop if required.
