When you ask a question here,you get a reply,you comment on there answer but they never answer back

I'm new here, but I've noticed that the notifications come pretty quick, so if a person is answering a lot of questions, and replying to a lot of comments, I can see how one could easily lose track of every comment and response.

That sounds like a conversation, is that the idea here?

Obviously they're just there to answer, not to follow-up anything else the asker may have to say or ask them and they're not obligated to do so.

Personal choice, I guess. At least you got the first comment - many people don't comment at all.

They might have gotten busy and didn't log off or they're not at their computer.

It can be annoying. :/
