Why are some private messages called requests?
How does SW decide which messages go into that category?

There's an orange "Filter Messages" button below the people-conversations you have in your [i]inbox[/i]. Click on that and you'll see what you can filter.

Its filters - but sometimes they aren't that reliable. It pays to keep an eye on it.

You have a place where you can filter your private messages by age groups or gender and such.
If you have, tjen the ones you've selected will appear as requests Instead of going straight to your messages

@OogieBoogie @Elisbch I found the filtering place! And I can see that the only people I filtered out were 13-17 year olds. The only message I have in requests is from someone in the 46-50 bracket. Does that mean that this guy is really a young teenager and SW knows it? And if that were the case, why wouldn't they crack down on his account?

@Poppies admin can't watch everyone at the same time.
Usually they only take notice if someone notifies them. People, well some people are always changing their accounts: names, avatars, agebrackets, even the sex of their account... Sometines it's a joke, sometimes ita ti hide, there's lots of reasons.
So it's a hard thing to keep track of.
It's not unusual for kids to disguise themselves and come.to the adults section.... Especially now woth covid around, and people are getting bored.
So you may want to report them...
Someone also told.ne the higher the reports, the more likely you are for it to get attention,
But since this is a private issue - all you can do is report them - and see if admin notices it.
I caught someone posing as an adult, but ot took avout 2onths for admin to address tje issue.
The thing is - if you report - and they close the account down - that user can just make a new account.
My best advice... Warn your friends through pm... And ignore or block tjat account. At least ypu know now who is a fake - if they get closed down and make a new account... Ypu won't know who they are.
Learning to ignore wjat you don't like here Is important - dont let people get to you... And also remember wjen you make a post - it's your post - your rules. Trolls love to come in and trash ypur post, side line you... Some even work in pairs... Don't let anyone tell yoy what you can't do, here - it's freedom of speech..... So you will see things you dobt like... But unless it's illegal... It's game on.
But I hope you have fun here.
This place helped me, it's not as much fun atm with millennials shitposting nebulous offensive stuff for attention... But hopefully after covid, this place will improve again.
