Is $50 too much for getting nails done?

In my opinion yes the upkeep is too expensive too

Mine cost $30, and I can get it done cheaper but like the lady who does them and the salon she works at. I also tip her $10 - so $40 every other week.

I assume your $50 is without tip? Either way, I think I actually pay too much, so you most certainly are.

Just purchase a bottle of biotin and some cuticle cream and grow your own. A lot cheaper and very little upkeep.
